Benefits of eating fruits

Fruits have an extremely important role in the balance of a healthy human diet due to it’s nutritional qualities.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed in recent years the results of several research studies that highlight the anticancer effects of fruits and vegetables, particularly against cancer of the gastrointestinal tract and lung cancer. According to studies, one in ten patients affected by some type of cancer has maintained an insufficient diet based on fruits and vegetables.

Other very healthy fruits are citrus fruits and some tropical fruits rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, vitamin E and other substances with antioxidant properties, which are used against cardiovascular diseases, catarats, breast cancer, ovaries or bladder.
